{"id":3,"date":"2017-11-04T13:13:25","date_gmt":"2017-11-04T13:13:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/legal\/about-us\/"},"modified":"2022-03-18T11:01:17","modified_gmt":"2022-03-18T11:01:17","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.vc.sua.ac.tz\/legal\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"<hr \/>\n<div class=\"center\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Introduction<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nSince the establishment of the Sokoine University of Agriculture in 1984, the legal affairs of the University have been managed under the office of the then Registrar and now the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration and Finance) herein after referred to as DVC (A&amp;F) through a Legal Officer and current through Corporate Counsel.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Background<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThe Council at its 133th and 135th meetings held on 27th March 2014 and 25th September 2015 approved University restructuring proposal and implementation plan respectively.
